Sterling Technical Training Centre
Sterling Technical Training Centre (STTC), is a registered and accredited technical vocational training institution in the Gambia that offers training, consulting, and technical services. Sterling Technical Training Centre was established in 2016. Since inception, the centre has trained youths in various marketable trade area.
Sterling Technical Training Centre has now expanded its operations to Basse and operates mobile training in Janjangbureh,/Bansang. We are an accredited training centre by National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (NAQAA) the Gambia. Our curricula are approved by NAQAA and all our trainers have a NAQAA license.
Over the years, we partnered with the EU-funded Tekki Fii Project implemented by GIZ, International Trade Centre (ITC) through Youths Empowerment Project (YEP), International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and UNDP, National Youth Service Scheme, Child-Fund The Gambia, US Embassy-The Gambia. We have trained 1050 youths and changed the lives of so many young Gambians some of whom have now become employed or entrepreneurs.
Sterling Technical Training Centre is currently constructing a modern campus which is on the verge of completion. The Centre intended to run more advance programs, increase student enrolment and introduce new training programs by August 2021.
